Hi Guys,
We have a client with a Home Theater System powered by a Denon AVR 1906 into a QSC 565 Power Amp for Zone 2. The system is controlled with a Philips TSU3000. So far so good.
Here's the the issue. Since the components are remotely located an RFX6000 RF Extender is in use. The client can access the stack from pretty much anyplace in the house except for the master bedroom [45' away]. I want to install a Russound volume control w/ an IR pass through window in that room.
will an IR output port on the RF extender be compatable with the input on a Xantech connecting block. If my theory is correct, I'll be able to supply IR control from the RF extender and the Russound Volume Control to the connecting block and use just one IR emitter per component. Any Ideas?
Thanks,
Corsair

You could also try out the newer RFX-6500. It has a seperate antenna, which you also extend to give you much more range. I have tried a couple of these without extending the range and it so much better than the older 6000.
